Imagine ordering a SALAD leads to the Biggest Disappointment

So the other day I went to a fancy restaurant after a long time…

And instead of regular Butter chicken or other greasy stuff.

I decide to order something healthy.

And when you ask me…

about healthy food!

My answer would a salad- lots of vegetables and leafy stuff.

So I ordered one salad…

Even though I never had a salad before especially at a restaurant.

I know this salad in front of me is the worst salad in history.

Why?

Because it looks like a tossed salad…

Something that I can make at home.

Throw everything on the counter into a big wooden bowl, and marinate with some sauce…

And that’s it.

Wow, that was a Hell of an experience.

Anyway, the same thing I’ve noticed in advertising copy…

the “tossed salad” approach.

Like throwing everything on the counter…

into a big wooden bowl, marinating with some connecting sentences, and tossing.

It’s a standard recipe for some copywriters.

If you believe that by adding all benefits and features together…

you would likely get traction.

But let me tell you that it’s the wrong approach.

You will immediately lose your reader’s attention because of this silly mistake.

Because you’re talking about lots of things.

So what is the solution?

Well, your offer page only talks about…

YOUR BIG IDEA.

Yes, your copy must have one big idea.

And your whole copy must revolve around that big idea.

So one big idea, a story or facts to support and trigger emotion(while your reader reads the copy) and call to action.

Your call to action must fulfill only one goal whether you want email or a sale or anything.

Just one goal.

Hope you have enjoyed reading. Why don’t you drop a comment and let me know your thoughts?
